Get Gwen's Look: Voice Top 9 Show
Tonight, we wanted Gwen to look like a chic tribal warrior princess. We went for a green babydoll dress that mixed delicate lace with ethnic details and heavy accessorizing with the jewelry. The plunging neckline and sheerness of the dress was a nice counterbalance to its more innocent shape. We finished the look with fishnet tights and Jimmy Choo lace ankle boots for a little extra edge.
Gregory Arlt – Makeup Artist
Tribal couture was the inspiration for tonight, and the makeup had a modern, punky edge as though Gwen was the leader of her tribe. I did a semi-matte skin with a warm shiny blush and lots of highlights. For her eyes, I used matte shadows with a very elongated, straight liner on the upper lids, and a black pencil on the inside of her eyes. Two coats of mascara and lashes finished off the look with a swipe of a coral pink gloss on the lips.

Poca hotness meets urban tribal chic. Tonight, Gwen’s hair was long and sleek arranged in tousled fishtail braids. Our couture style take on the classic braid.
